Guilherme Oliveira e Costa

Guilherme Oliveira e Costa joined VdA in 2022. He is an Associate in the Competition & EU practice where he has provided legal advice in various sectors, of competition law, including administrative proceedings for restrictive practices, private enforcement proceedings, merger control operations and state aid.

Law degree from Nova School of Law – Faculty of Law of Nova University of Lisbon.

Master's in International and European Law from Nova School of Law – Faculty of Law of Nova University of Lisbon.

Post-graduation in Competition and Regulation at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Currently studying for an LL.M. in Competition Law & Economics at the Brussels School of Competition.

Researcher at the Nova Consumer Lab of the Nova School of Law – Faculty of Law of Nova University of Lisbon.

He participates, as a jury and coach, in the Moot Courts programme at the Nova School of Law – Faculty of Law of Nova University of Lisbon.

Before joining the firm, he worked, between September 2018 and August 2022, as an Associate and Trainee Lawyer at Sérvulo & Associados, SP, RL in the European and Competition practice area.

Between May and July 2022, he performed a secondment at the Madrid office of Bird&Bird (International) LLP.
