VdA (Vieira de Almeida & Associados) has recently formalised two partnership agreements in the Republic of Congo with the following local firms:
- Sutter & Pearce, a Pointe-Noire based firm highly regarded for its oil & gas and tax expertise. Sutter & Pearce was founded in 2004 by Richard Moulet, a renowned lawyer with deep roots in the Republic of Congo. Richard is also active in the Central African Republic. Sutter & Pearce and VdA will jointly assist clients principally on oil & gas and tax consulting work;
- Cabinet Mathias Essereke, also based in Pointe-Noire. Founding partner Mathias Essereke is widely respected for his experience as a litigator. Cabinet Mathias Essereke and VdA will focus their collaboration on litigation work for commercial and labour matters.

With this move, VdA expands its coverage of Central Africa, a key strategic area for the firm’s development.
