Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA) is pleased to announce that Jorge Bleck, one of Portugal's leading corporate lawyers, is joining the firm as a partner on 1st September 2013. Upon arrival he will also assume leadership of the firm's M&A and Corporate Finance practice group.
The M&A and Corporate Finance team at VdA is already regarded as a market leader for Portuguese corporate and private equity transactions as well as those involving the lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) markets. The firm, in addition, continues to play a prominent role in many aspects of Portugal's ongoing privatisation programme. Jorge will work alongside partners Helena Vaz Pinto, Paulo Barros Baptista and João Vieira de Almeida, who will further concentrate on his role as Managing Partner of VdA.
His entry into VdA furthers our strategy of investing in core areas of practice and of broadening our international profile.
