Catarina Pinto Correia is taking part as a keynote speaker in the event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the UN Global Compact, which will take place on Thursday 10 April from 9am to 6pm at the Rocha do Conde de Óbidos Maritime Station in Lisbon.

As keynote speaker, Catarina Pinto Correia will take part in the 3pm plenary session entitled ‘Nature Protection and COP 30: Global Challenges and Commitments’.

The United Nations Global Compact, an initiative promoted by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, seeks to mobilise the private sector and other organisations to align their operations with the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. In Portugal, this mission is being led by the UN Global Compact Network Portugal.

The event includes round tables, thematic panels and workshops with national and international experts, ending with a Port of Honour to celebrate the initiative's 25th anniversary.
