In this edition, VdA's lawyers analyse the regulation of the oil sector, through the legal framework, government policies and exploration and production rights in East Timor. In addition, onshore and offshore regimes, regulatory powers over operators, licence duration, decommissioning and abandonment, regulation of oil transportation and cost recovery in the sector are addressed.
