Magda Cocco is quoted in an article published by Jornal de Negócios, entitled "Europe forces countries to set up organisation to regulate AI" (AI) in the context of the recent approval of the "AI Act" by the European Parliament.

The aim of this European regulation is to "standardise the research, production and use of artificial intelligence" which, according to Magda Cocco, represents "a historic milestone in the legislative development of this technology" as it is the first legal regime approved worldwide on the regulation of AI.

The final Act is expected to be published in the Official Journal of the European Union shortly, "with the AI Act entering into force on the twentieth day following its publication".
