VdA hosts the Workshop: "Presentation of the New Legal Framework for Cybersecurity", an initiative promoted by Portugal DC – Portuguese Association of Data Centres, as part of its Technical Committee 4 – Regulation.
This event, aimed at Portugal DC members, seeks to provide insight into the new legal framework for cybersecurity, resulting from the transposition of the NIS 2 Directive. This new regulation introduces significant changes to the legal landscape of cybersecurity in Portugal, imposing new obligations and challenges on organisations.
The session will feature a presentation by Magda Cocco, who will outline the key changes introduced by the new framework, highlighting its impact, challenges, and opportunities for businesses and sector operators.
Moreover, the event will serve as a platform for discussion and the sharing of best practices, offering participants the opportunity to clarify doubts and debate strategies for implementing the new regulatory requirements.
The workshop will also include the participation of Rui Franco (REN), a Member of the Board of Portugal DC, who will provide a practical perspective on the application of these new rules within the sector.
