Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira, Of Counsel, will participate as a speaker at the Congress on Alternative Dispute Resolution, taking place on 20 and 21 November in Lisbon.

Organised by Almedina Academy, the congress brings together academics, judges and lawyers to discuss the growing importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and the challenges currently facing its development. Over the past two decades, there has been a significant increase in the use of ADR mechanisms, leading to a growing number of disputes being resolved outside state courts, both nationally and internationally.

Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira will take part in the round-table discussion ‘Future Prospects for ADR’, moderated by Ana Filipa Morais Antunes (Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon) and António Pedro Pinto Monteiro (Autonomous University of Lisbon). The session will also feature José Miguel Júdice (Independent Arbitrator), Luís de Lima Pinheiro (Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon), Mariana Soares David (Morais Leitão) and Pedro Batista Martins (Batista Martins Advogados).
