Assunção Cristas took part in Global Oeiras Ocean Days 2026, an international initiative dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the oceans, which runs throughout June and brings together representatives from the scientific community, businesses, public decision-makers and investors.

Under the theme 'Where Blue Innovation Meets Global Action', the event promotes discussion on solutions to the challenges facing the blue economy, with a particular focus on decarbonisation, technological innovation and sustainable finance.

The VdA Partner participated in the panel ‘Blue Catalytic Finance: public-private partnerships for investing in times of risk uncertainty’, where financing models and public-private partnerships were discussed as key instruments for mobilising investment in contexts of uncertainty and transition.
