Magda Cocco participated as a speaker at the International Conference "E-TEC4Space: Law and Policy Challenges for the Space Domain", organised by the School of Law and the School of Medicine of the University of Minho.

This conference, which took place on 6 June, aimed to launch the new research area JusGov, a research and development (R&D) unit at the University of Minho, focused on Law and Public Policy in Space.

In this context, Magda Cocco participated in the panel on "The Contemporary Relevance of Space: What Public Policy Priorities?" together with speakers Delfina Soares (UNU-EGOV), Hugo Costa (Portuguese Space Agency), Pedro Costa (Portuguese Air Force) and moderated by Bruno Reynaud de Sousa (EDUM/JusGov).

This event brought together some of the biggest stakeholders in the space sector, with the participation of the keynote speaker, General Pascal from the European Space Agency, and the Czech Ambassador to Portugal, Dr Martin Pohl.
