Assunção Cristas took part in the Clean Growth Summit – Road to COP31, held on 18 September in Guimarães, which brought together experts and representatives from different sectors to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable growth.

The VdA Partner joined the panel “Economy and Prosperity: Industrial Competitiveness and the Energy Transition”, which focused on the relationship between industrial competitiveness, the transformation of the energy sector and decarbonisation targets.

Moderated by Manuel Caldeira Cabral, the panel also featured Vladimiro Feliz and explored pathways towards an energy transition that contributes simultaneously to greater competitiveness, economic growth and a more sustainable economy.

Under the theme “The Road to COP31 Starts in Guimarães”, the Clean Growth Summit fostered debate on the solutions and strategies required to accelerate a sustainable and competitive transition.
