Conceição Gamito is part of the faculty of the Intensive Course on Import and Export VAT, organised by the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lisbon.
This course aims to provide a detailed understanding of the complexities of VAT in international import and export transactions.
Conceição Gamito lectures the class entitled ‘Definition of the taxable person for VAT purposes: focus on import and export VAT’, which is part of the module on ‘General Principles and Transversal Issues’.
In addition, the course includes the modules ‘Specific Themes in Import and Export VAT’ and ‘VAT Challenges in an Import and Export Scenario’, developed to address specific issues and common challenges faced by companies in international trade.
