The Health Practice took part in the 12th IBA Life Sciences Annual Conference, which took place in Lisbon on 4 and 5 June.

On 4 June, Francisca Paulouro moderated the roundtable discussion on the topic ‘The new frontiers of telemedicine’. Together with Oliver Stöckel of SKW Schwarz, Francisca addressed the main legal challenges associated with the provision of remote medical services, encouraging debate and the sharing of experiences across various jurisdictions.

The Conference, which was supported by several firms including VdA, brought together hundreds of lawyers and legal professionals from around the world, who took advantage of these days to get to know one another and exchange views on the major trends in the sector.
