VdA participates no IAC 2018 - The 69th International Astronautical Congress, an international event which consists of a scientific conference program and a space exhibition.

Helena Correia Mendonça, principal consultant, and Marta Graça, head of New Frontier Business, represent VdA Space Law practice at this conference and present four papers: Implementing and operating spaceports: legal and regulatory issues;

A new approach to national laws aimed at encouraging small satellites' space activities;

International cooperation in outer space and beyond: bringing countries and sectors together for common goals; An African country first satellite and space strategy: their role in addressing global societal challenges through outer space.

IAC 2018 takes place between October 1and 5 in Bremen.
