The Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation is presenting the contemporary art exhibition ‘Linha de União’ ('Line of Union'), by Chilean artist Camila Lobos Díaz, curated by Verónica de Mello, which will open on 13 November, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, at the VdA Lisbon office.
The exhibition presents an installation that invites us to reflect on the lines that divide and unite people, addressing current questions about identity, migration and the complexity of Europe's geographical and political borders.
Camila Lobos Díaz is the winner of the Chilean National Cultural Council's FONDART Scholarship.
This exhibition is part of the series entitled ‘Novos Olhares’ ('New Looks'), an initiative organised by the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation that aims to promote contemporary culture in its different expressions, fostering critical thinking, multiculturalism and interdisciplinarity from a new perspective.
Information: This exhibition is open at the VdA office until 31 January. Visits can be scheduled by appointment to the following email: mbe@vda.pt
