Maria Cunha Matos joined VdA in 2017. She is Partner of the Corporate and M&A practice.
She has been working on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures in a number of sectors (mining, industry, agri-business, food, real estate and retail, among others) and international capital markets transactions.
Law degree, University Lisbon Faculty of Law.
Post-graduation in Tax Management, Overgest/ISCTE.

Before joining the firm Maria worked at Linklaters’ São Paulo office as a managing associate, with over 15 years’ experience in providing legal advice to international clients, focused on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures in a number of sectors (mining, industry, agri-business, food, real estate and retail, among others), and international capital markets transactions.
Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association, to the Law Society of England and Wales, as a solicitor, and to the Brazilian Bar Association, as a foreign legal consultant.
