VdA has been shortlisted for 'Portugal Law Firm of the Year' at the Chambers Europe Awards 2025, joining a select group of firms recognised as leading players in the Portuguese legal market.

In addition, VdA has also been shortlisted in the 'Pro Bono: Outstanding Firm' and 'DEI: Outstanding Firm' categories, distinctions that reflect the Firm’s ongoing commitment to social impact initiatives and to fostering an organisational culture grounded in diversity, equity and inclusion. Notably, in the 'Pro Bono: Outstanding Firm' category, VdA is the only Portuguese law firm shortlisted.

This nomination further reinforces the Firm’s international recognition, highlighting the consistency of its performance, the technical excellence of its teams and its ability to support clients in highly complex matters, both in Portugal and internationally.

The Chambers Europe Awards annually recognise law firms that stand out for excellence in client service, strategic growth and their overall impact on the legal sector, based on independent research conducted by Chambers and Partners.

The awards ceremony will take place on 14 May in Madrid, bringing together some of the leading figures in the European legal market.
