VdA has been nominated by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards 2021 as "Continental Europe's Most Innovative Law Firm" for the 8th year.
As the only Portuguese law firm to receive this recognition, VdA is also nominated in the following categories:
- Practice Law - for its innovative work in the development of a new business area linked to SIFIDE funds, focused on investment in start-ups and R&D companies in Portugal;
- Innovation in People and Skills - for the creation of a new training model designed by VdA Academia - "Learning Journey" - which aims to empower and develop the skills of VdA professionals, offering more autonomy and increasing commitment to their individual training and development path.
VdA has been widely recognised over the years as one of Europe's most innovative firms for thinking ahead and building innovative responses to its clients' complex legal challenges.
The FT Innovative Lawyers Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the international law market and aim to distinguish the firms that have brought the most innovation to the sector.
The awards ceremony will take place on 14 October.
