Vanda Cascão and Matilde Líbano Monteiro were honoured at the prestigious "Women in Business Law Awards 2024" ceremony, which took place on 26 June in London.
Vanda Cascão stood out by receiving two awards: one in the category of "Energy Natural Resources & Mining Lawyer of the Year" and the other for "Outstanding Achievement". The latter distinction recognises lawyers with more than 25 years' experience who stand out for their legal knowledge, mentoring and promoting change to overcome challenges for women in the legal profession.
Matilde Líbano Monteiro was recognised as an "Arbitration Rising Star", proving to be a rising lawyer in the arbitration area.
The "Women in Business Law EMEA Awards" aim to recognise leading women for their contribution to the practice of business law.
