Environmental sustainability, a goal that bonds the firm

VdA accepted BCSD’s challenge and presented a case study related to its "Green Project" (environmental sustainability and eco-efficiency) demonstrating the firm’s adoption of low carbon solutions.

The case study, entitled “Integrar o ambiente no negócio” (“Integrating environment in business") is one of the 26 case studies contained in the BCSD Sustainability Yearbook, released on November 25, at BCSD's Annual Conference in Lisbon.

For Manuel Gouveia Pereira, VdA’s Green Project manager, "this case study represents the commitment and mobilization of all the firm's employees in reducing our ecological footprint and demonstrates not only an attitude of responsibility but also a relentless will to overcome goals and objectives, which is part of VdA’s identity".
