Américo Oliveira Fragoso (Managing Associate) is quoted in an article in Expresso newspaper about the required training that companies should give to their employees. As it is verified that most companies do not carry out the 40h training, the Government signed an agreement that allows "tax benefits for those who go beyond the law".

The lawyer states that "the monitoring of this matter is not straightforward because the law itself provides that the company may, on termination of the contract, settle the accounts with the worker for the credits of hours of training. In other words, the company is only in full breach if it does not ensure the training and, at the end of the contract, does not compensate the worker for it."
