In the latest episode of the VdA Podcast , Assunção Cristas, Isabel Gião de Andrade and Miguel Ventura analyse the past year and share their perspectives regarding ESG themes for 2025.

During the episode, the VdA lawyers discuss the evolution of the main legislative instruments, such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Taxonomy and the Regulation banning forced labour, as well as the impacts and challenges for companies and markets.

They also address the long-awaited Omnibus legislation, which aims to simplify and harmonise the procedures and standards applicable to these matters. Although it has not yet been published, the expectation regarding this piece of legislation has generated a great deal of interest from the organisations and shareholders.
