Carla Gonçalves Borges, Pedro Pereira Coutinho and Tiago Correia Moreira are members of VdA's partner school since January 2020. Carla Gonçalves Borges, Litigation & Arbitration practice lawyer, has recognised experience in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, both national and international, also in the role of arbitrator. She acts mainly in judicial and arbitration proceedings, representing clients from the most different sectors of activity, including banking, funds and financial services, energy, construction, infrastructure, public-private partnerships, industry, sports, commerce and distribution, telecommunications and emerging technologies, health, tourism and leisure. She also has relevant experience in insolvency and corporate recovery proceedings and in criminal and misdemeanor litigation.

Pedro Pereira Coutinho integrates the Real Estate practice at VdA and has extensive experience in real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale and rental of real estate assets, the global monitoring of real estate projects (commercial, housing and tourism), the drafting of architectural, engineering, project management and construction supervision service contracts, and construction work (new construction and rehabilitation). The lawyer has also provided recurrent assistance in sale and leaseback transactions and in the acquisition and sale, including due diligence, of various types of real estate assets (residential, commercial, services and tourism), and in the areas of urban licensing.

Tiago Correia Moreira is a lawyer at the Banking & Finance practice and has worked in all types of transactions in the sector, with special focus on the purchase and sale of non-performing loans and guaranteed financing (including aircraft financing). At the same time, he devotes much of his time to regulatory aspects of these sectors, such as monitoring clients with national and foreign regulators in the context of the development of their activities in Portugal and abroad. He is also the lawyer responsible for the financial aspects of the VdA FinTech team, in charge of payment services, e-money issuance and the application of new technologies to the banking and financial sector.
