Assunção Cristas participates in the 11th edition of the World Ocean Summit & Expo, which returns to Lisbon to foster the debate on actions to transition to a sustainable ocean economy.

Assunção Cristas will participate today, March 12th, as moderator of the panel "Effectively managing marine spaces for economic and environmental benefit". Tomorrow, the 13th, Assunção Cristas will participate as a speaker in the session "How to close the gender gap in the blue economy". In this session, speakers are asked to discuss strategies to engage stakeholders from politics, education, the private sector and NGOs to achieve greater gender inclusivity.
