Mariana França Gouveia participates as moderator at the XIII International Arbitration Conference in Luanda, which takes place on 27 November, in Angola. The event is organised by the Bar of Angola (OAA), in partnership with the Law Firm Manuel Gonçalves & Associates (MG Advogados) and the Commercial Arbitration Center (CAC) of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
 
With the theme "Building paths to arbitration: Transparency, Infrastructure and Taxation", the conference aims to promote debate on arbitration in Angola and other parts of the world. This initiative aims to highlight the importance of alternative dispute resolution, which contributes to a faster and more specialised justice, as well as generating significant economic and social benefits.
 
Mariana França Gouveia moderates the panel entitled "Arbitration in transnational infrastructure projects: the impact of a butterfly’s wing flapping on the other side of the world".
