Invited by NOVA FCT, Manuel Gouveia Pereira (Managing Associate) gave a lecture on the 28th of April on environmental liability, contaminated soils, risk prevention and environmental offences, within the scope of the Masters in Environmental Engineering.
The lecture focused on the legislative framework on soil decontamination and environmental liability, discussion of the most relevant case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and also included a debate on risk prevention and on the landmark cases of environmental liability and the adoption of remedial and compensation measures.
