André Vilaça Ferreira and Nídia Rebelo lecture a morning course within the IPSS Management Training Programme, promoted by ENTRAJUDA with the support of the Vasco Vieira de Almeida Foundation, aimed at managers and other staff of social economy organisations, with the objective of presenting in a systematic manner the legislation that frames the activity of Private Social Solidarity Institutions and Non-Profit Entities and its implications.

The lawyers lead the morning session on "Taxation and Patronage", in which they identify the types of entities that compose the third sector and are relevant for tax purposes, the main rules of the various taxes in the Portuguese tax system that are relevant to their organisations and the exemptions they benefit from, develop the legal framework and application of the patronage tax system, answering practical questions posed by the rules in force.
