Vieira de Almeida & Associados (“VdA”) was invited by the University of Brasília (Brazil) to lead a session on the Harvard’s case study about VdA’s innovation path.
VdA is the first and the only European Law Firm being recognized by Harvard Law School in the area of innovation, within a universe of 26 organizations studied by Harvard Law School. In fact, VdA’s case study is a reflection of the firm’s innovative path being twice awarded by the Financial Times, as "Most Innovative Company of Continental Europe" (2013) and in 2015, as "Game Changing Law Firm".
Margarida Saragoça and Muriel Faden da Silva, respectively VdA’s Business Development & Clients Director and Head of Quality, Organization & Innovation and both Members of the Firm’s Innovation Committee (Forum Inovação), represented VdA and had the opportunity to explain VdA’s Innovation case study with Legal Entrepreneurship students’ from the Law Degree at University of Brasília (Brazil) and give their testimony about the importance and challenges of innovation in law firms, on a session that took place on May 4th 2016, via WebEx.
