Jornal de Negócios newspaper quotes Tiago Marreiros Moreira opinion on the Portugusese tax Administration's decision to appeal to the Municipalities for the latter to opose the Supreme Court's decision that determines that the Municipal Surcharge should be paid by groups of companies and not individually.

"I doubt this is an efficient measure", says Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA)'s partner. "Municipalities have little to add to what the Portuguese Tax Administration can already appeal to", quotes the newspaper.
