Miguel Marques dos Santos has written an opinion piece titled ‘The Government's Programme for Housing’, published in the July edition of Magazine Imobiliário.
In this article, the VdA lawyer analyses the current Government's programme for housing, describing it as ‘clear as a diagnosis and very focused on defining and implementing solutions’.
Through a clear and explanatory analysis, Miguel Marques dos Santos addresses the goals set by the Government and the measures proposed to achieve them. ‘The number of measures could be grouped in three: measures to provide a boost in housing supply, measures to provide stability and confidence in the rental market, and measures to ensure support to help the most vulnerable tenants’.
According to Miguel Marques dos Santos, ‘the measures are defined, they are good and make a lot of sense given the reality we have, but success will depend, once again, on implementing them to the letter quickly and commit to them,’ he concludes.
