Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA)'s lawyer Hugo Moredo Santos has been appointed as a member of the board of the Securities Institute. Hugo Moredo Santos writes and speaks regularly on issues regarding finance law and capital markets and is part of VdA's Banking & Finance area of practice. He now shares the institute's board with Professor Paula Costa e Silva (the President of the Institute) and with Isabel Alexandre, António Ferreira Soares and Pedro Machado.

The Securities Institute is associated to the University of Lisbon Faculty of Law and aims to promote research, teaching and sharing knowledge in the legal, economical and financial sciences areas. The institute administers a Post Graduation in Securities Law in a yearly basis. This year it will be administering its 16th edition. Please refer to the program here aqui.
