David Paula took part as a lecturer in the course ‘Negotiating Technology Contracts in the Insurance Sector – A Practical View’, organised by the Portuguese Insurance Association (APS), on 11 March.
The VdA Managing Associate discussed key challenges in the negotiation and contracting of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services, focusing in particular on procurement planning, the identification of key contractual provisions and the negotiation approaches typically adopted by clients and suppliers.
Aimed at professionals in the insurance sector involved in technology procurement and contracting processes, the training provided a practical perspective on preparing and conducting these negotiations, including the contracting of technology platforms and collaboration models based on technology partnerships.
