Mariana França Gouveia will take part in the III International Arbitration Conference, organised by the Mozambique Internationalisation Commission of the Commercial Arbitration Centre (CAC), on 22 May at the Auditorium of Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI), in Maputo.

The VdA lawyer will contribute to two key moments during the conference, with her first intervention taking place at the opening session at 08:30 am, and the second at 04:50 pm in the panel “The Bilateral Investment Treaties currently in force in Mozambique: can recent economic disruptions lead to more cases against the country?”

The conference will feature the presence of Mozambique's Minister of Justice, Mateus Saize, and will foster debates and networking among experts, further strengthening CAC's commitment to commercial arbitration in the country.

For Mariana França Gouveia, “This is a significant moment for the Mozambican and Lusophone arbitral community, offering an unmissable opportunity for updates and debate”.
