This Thursday, 26 March, Ana Luís de Sousa will be speaking at the Data Center Summit by Portugal DC, as part of the panel 'Energy and Data Centres: critical pillars of Portugal’s digital competitiveness'.

The session will bring together industry experts, including Ana Quelhas (EVP Hydrogen and Data Centres, EDP Renováveis) and António Vidigal (Energy Systems Consultant and former CEO of EDP Inovação), and will be moderated by journalist Ana Peneda Moreira (SIC Notícias), to discuss the role of energy in the development of data centres in Portugal.

Key topics will include the balance between growth and climate targets, regulatory challenges and investor predictability, as well as the role of the State and the market in grid planning, and the challenges associated with resilience, costs and decarbonisation.
