VdA was represented at the Digital Health Summit 2025, held on 10 and 11 December at the University of Madeira, in Funchal, with João de Araújo Ferraz, Senior Associate, taking part as a speaker.
During the first day of the Summit, he joined the panel 'Cybersecurity in Healthcare and Critical Infrastructures – NIS 2 Directive, Prevention and Response to Cyber Incidents', which addressed the application of the European cybersecurity framework.
Organised as part of the 6th edition of H-INNOVA: Health Innovation Hub, the Digital Health Summit brought together national and international experts to discuss innovative responses to the key challenges facing the healthcare sector. The initiative also aimed to foster entrepreneurship and strengthen the link between innovation, investment and technological development, contributing to the positioning of Madeira as a centre of excellence in the health sector.
