Margarida Saragoça, Vieira de Almeida & Associados (“VdA”)’s Business Development & Clients Director was invited by Harvard Law School (HLS) to lead a session on the Harvard’s case study about VdA’s innovation path.
This session will take place on March 1st 2016 in Boston and is part of Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession’s Speakers Series. It is aimed at sharing VdA’s innovation case study with Harvard University’s students, professors and researchers, as well as with professionals and other relevant stakeholders.
In fact, VdA’s case is the first and the only case concerning innovation on an European Law and it is a reflection of the firm’s innovative path being twice awarded by the Financial Times, as "Most Innovative Company of Continental Europe" (2013) and in 2015, as "Game Changing Law Firm".
Following Margarida Saragoça’s master's degree in Law Firms Management – Master of Professional Studies in Law Firm Management at The George Washington University (USA) – and given to the functions performed at the VdA as the Firm’s Business Development & Clients Director and a Member of the Firm’s Innovation Committee (Forum Inovação), Margarida will have the opportunity to explain VdA’s Innovation case study and give her testimony about the importance and challenges of innovation in law firms.
