António Andrade at the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA)'s Autumn Meeting.

"IP-based industries are a critical part of the EU's economic growth and job market. The protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights are crucial to growing Europe's economy and fostering research and innovation." António Andrade, Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA)'s managing associate is a specialist in IP and Industrial property and he will be discussing these issues at the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA)'s Autumn Meeting. As chair of the ECTA's Design Committee, António Andrade will be presiding over the meeting which will be addressing matters regarding the protection of European industrial designs.

ECTA joins IP specialists from around the globe, particularly from Europe. The working committees will be meeting in Seville between the 6th and 7th October. "It is a privilege to chair the ECTA's Design Committee, as it allows me to have an overall view over matters concerning intellectual property" says António Andrade. The Design Committee will be discussing matters concerning designs and models protection in an international context.
