Francisco Sá Carneiro

Francisco Sá Carneiro joined VdA in 2022. He is Partner of the Corporate and M&A practice where he has been involved in several transactions at a national and international level, namely in the areas of M&A, Capital Markets and Banking & Finance.

Law Degree, Lisbon Law School, Catholic University.

Before joining the firm, he was Partner at Campos Ferreira, Sá Carneiro & Associados (2009-2021).

Previously, he was Partner and Co-Managing Director in Portugal (2004-2009), Member of the Board (2004-2009) and of the Executive Committee (2007-2009) of Uría Menéndez.

He was Founding Partner and Managing Partner at Vasconcelos, F. Sá Carneiro, Fontes & Associados (1993-2004).

He was Partner (1986-1993) and Associate (1982-1986) at João Morais Leitão & Associados and a Trainee Lawyer at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly, Brussels Office.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
