Fernando Resina da Silva

Fernando Resina da Silva returned to VdA in 2001. He is Head Partner of the IP Transactions practice and Information, Communication & Technology Partner.

In such capacity he has been involved in several transactions, in Portugal and abroad, namely focused on information and communication technologies, outsourcing, cloud computing, emerging technologies, intellectual property, e-commerce, electronic communications, postal services, advertising and media.  He has also been involved in important information systems and outsourcing (ITO and BPO) transactions in the banking sector, as well as the structuring and implementing of projects regarding emerging technologies, involving, for example, artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, blockchain, robotics, autonomous and connected vehicles, nanotechnology, and new materials. He has also been focused on digital transformation, R&D and innovation, technological entrepreneurship, mobility and smart cities, as well as in the fields of Intellectual Property, Commercial and Corporate Law. He also participates in several projects of Entrepreneurship and Social Economy.

He has participated as speaker in several conferences and seminars related to his area of practice.

He is author of several articles published in national and international specialized publications.
