Maria Carrilho joined VdA in 2013. Managing Associate at the Banking & Finance area of practice where she has been involved in several transactions.
Maria devotes a large part of her work to acquisition finance transactions, in particular to real estate financing transactions, escorting domestic and international clients from structuring to closing, setting-up and drafting the financing agreements and related security package.
She also has a strong focus in regulatory and derivatives work, assisting some leading institutions in the financial and non-financial sectors. Maria also worked as a secondee at a Portuguese bank covering financial derivatives practice.
Law degree from New University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.
Frequency of Master in Law and Business, Portuguese Catholic University.
LL.M. in International Business Law, Católica Global School of Law.
Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
