Domingos Freire de Andrade
Domingos Freire de Andrade joined VdA in 2019. He is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A practice, where he has worked on several M&A, private equity, venture capital and joint venture transactions in the infrastructure and energy sectors, notably in the infrastructure & renewable energy sector. He has also advised on the restructuring of corporate groups, as well as advised the Board of Directors on company law.
Law degree, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.
Post-graduate in Corporate Finance, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.
LL.M. in Corporate and Securities Law, London School of Economics and Political Science.
Advanced post-graduate in M&A and Corporate Litigation, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.
Before joining the firm, Domingos worked at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados as a trainee lawyer.
In 2021, he was on a full-time secondment, for six months, and in 2022 and 2023 he was on a part-time secondment, as interim Legal Director at Finerge, a leading Portuguese renewable energy company.
