Law firms' expansion abroad

Fifty to sixty per cent of the overall profits of some of the Portuguese law firm's are attributed to international activity, says Expresso newspaper in its 25th June edition. However, Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA)'s partner Tiago Marreiros Moreira underlined that "it is important not to regard expansion abroad as a «life saving device» but rather as medium to long term challenge that may assure a steady growth and profit", quotes the newspaper.
