Tiago Cochofel de Azevedo (Managing Associate) is quoted in an Expresso newspaper article on the use of algorithms by companies in recruitment and dismissal decisions, and the following regulation by the Government and European Commission, of this artificial intelligence tools usage in a labour context.

"Creating a robust body of legislation for the use of algorithms and AI in a work context is extremely complex. If the legislative framework is too technical, it risks becoming quickly outdated by rapid technological change. If it is too vague, it will be ineffective. It's a tricky balance."
