Joaquim Pedro Lampreia (Partner) is quoted in an article in Advocatus on the fact that the tax transparency regime in Portugal is obsolete, having been in force for more than 30 years it has not adapted to time evolution.
On the negative discrimination for law firms, resultant from this legal regime, the Partner states: "this disadvantage becomes increasingly relevant as the continuous blurring of the boundaries between different economic activities has made the non-authorized legal advice much more pervasive".
