VdA is one of 17 companies that have committed to Act4Nature, an initiative of the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD) Portugal, launched in May, which aims to "mobilize and encourage companies to protect, promote and restore biodiversity and ecosystem services."

"By joining Act4Nature Portugal, companies are affirming an important commitment at a time of international biodiversity turnaround and have the opportunity to better integrate natural capital into their business models and value chains, which is critical to achieving truly sustainable societies and economies by 2030," says the BCSD's director-general.
