Samuel Fernandes de Almeida (Partner) is quoted in an article in Jornal Económico newspaper on the introduction of the single 15% personal income tax rate proposed by the Liberal Initiative Party to boost the economy, retain staff in the country and reduce tax complexity.
The lawyer foresees "a significant (immediate) loss of revenue, as well as an impact yet to be determined for the first two brackets, which ensure only 10.5% of revenue".
