Carla Gonçalves Borges (Head of Practice Partner Litigation & Arbitration) and Bernardo Kahn (Associate) publish an article in "Studies in honour of Professor Doctor Maria Helena Brito"

On occasion of Professor Maria Helena Brito's retirement, the NOVA School of Law organized the publication of a book in her honour, which brings together contributions from various authors in the different fields of Law to which she dedicated her professional and academic life.

The laywers contributed with an article entitled "The Obligation to Apply the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods" included in the chapter dedicated to International Trade Law, exploring the possibility of understanding that, due to the Convention's entry into force in the Portuguese legal system, Portuguese courts are now required to apply the Convention even if it is not applied for or brought by the Parties while also exploring how the applicability of this Convention can be avoided.
