Olivier Bustin, managing international adviser, co-authors an article with Moktar Adamou for L’Essentiel about the adoption of a new penal code in Benin.

This new Penal Code, which revokes the Decree-Law of 6 May 1877, consolidates certain existing legislations on Company Criminal Law and adopts simultaneously new special punitive legislative provisions, which have a direct impact on the business world and practice, such as fraud, breach of trust, infringements of exchange control, violations of the intellectual property rights and cyber and computer violations.
