Today, 27 May, marks the launch of the aiceblock® platform, designed to address the challenges organisations face in developing and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Focused on establishing effective governance, the platform ensures that AI systems comply with the European Regulation (AI Act) and international best practices, enhancing security and reducing the risks associated with the adoption of this technology.
aiceblock® was developed through a partnership between Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda (INCM), VdA and Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS.
A 360° solution for AI governance and compliance
The platform is designed for both public and private organisations that develop or use AI systems to deliver services or support internal processes, enabling them to monitor the entire lifecycle of AI systems, from risk classification under the AI Act to ongoing monitoring and auditing.
It includes features such as automated risk classification and the identification of applicable obligations under the AI Act, compliance documentation tools, and the generation of auditable reports, facilitating the responsible implementation of AI solutions, reducing risks and building trust among users.
Available free of charge
Developed in Portugal, aiceblock® aims to contribute to European digital sovereignty in a strategic area such as AI governance and compliance.
The first version of aiceblock® is available at from today until the end of July, free of charge for all organisations interested in testing the platform.
