Inês Antas de Barros and João de Araújo Ferraz will participate in ANGOTIC 2026 – Angola ICT Forum, taking place in Luanda from 11 to 13 June under the theme “On the Path to Digital Transformation”.
On 12 June, they will be keynote speakers at the workshop “Digital Transformation and Communications Regulation in Angola: from Infrastructure to Data and AI”, an initiative organised by VdA, Angola Telecom and AICEP, dedicated to the key regulatory challenges associated with the evolution of Angola’s digital ecosystem.
The session will address communications regulation and digital infrastructure in Angola, personal data protection and cybersecurity, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence and the digital economy on businesses, institutions and the development of the ICT sector.
The workshop will also feature representatives from the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and the Data Protection Authority (APD), as well as experts in public regulatory law, and will be moderated by Roque Dinis, Executive Director of Angola Telecom.
